Magic at Work

I’m part of the Co-Conspirators group and this month we had a session titled “Breaking the Silence: Confronting Anti-Black Racism in AFP” at AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals) ICON 2024 in Toronto. We talked with vulnerability about our fears and the cost of speaking out publicly.

Enjoying my sabbatical in summer weather here in Baton Rouge. It’s a nice homecoming – my dad shows his love through delicious homemade cooking, daily fresh salads, and an endless supply of fresh fruit… mango, local strawberries… you name it. Because of my time here, I’m not a vegetarian but rather a pescatarian because I eat shrimp here!
